Terms of Service

Last updated 26 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and XenAI Limited (company number 16692418), registered in England and Wales, when you use Driving Theory Mock Test. Using the site means accepting them.

What this service is

Driving Theory Mock Test is an independent revision service for the UK driving theory test. It gives you topic practice, full length mock tests under the clock, and hazard perception practice clips.

Our questions come from the DVSA revision question bank, used under licence. They are revision questions. They are not the questions you will be asked in your real test, and we do not claim to know what those are. Our only relationship with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency is the Crown copyright licence that permits our use of the revision question bank.

Nothing here is a guarantee that you will pass. Practising well makes passing more likely and that is the whole of the claim.

Your account

You can use the free tier without an account. To buy access you need one, and you agree to give a real email address, to keep your password to yourself, and to tell us if you think someone else is using your account.

One account is for one person. Sharing a login is the one thing that makes us close accounts, because a lifetime pass shared between a class is the difference between this being a business and not.

What you agree not to do

  • Copy, scrape, republish or resell the questions, the explanations or the hazard perception clips. They are licensed to us, not to you, and we are contractually responsible for protecting them.
  • Use automated tools to pull content out of the site, or try to reach answers you have not earned by working through a test.
  • Break the site on purpose, or try to reach other people’s accounts or data.
  • Resell or sublicense your access.

Paying for access

Prices are shown on the pricing page, in pounds sterling, including any VAT. Day passes and lifetime access are one off payments. Weekly and monthly plans renew until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not end the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until that period runs out.

Refunds are covered by our refund policy, which is more generous than the law requires.

When we might close an account

We can suspend or close an account that shares a login, scrapes content, or attacks the site. Where it is our decision rather than something automatic, we will tell you why and refund any unused part of a paid period. If you simply stop using the site, nothing happens: we do not delete accounts for inactivity.

What we are responsible for

We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill, and the content will be as described. If we fail at that, you have the rights the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you, and nothing here reduces them.

We are not responsible for the result of your real theory test. That depends on you, on the questions you are asked on the day, and on things neither of us controls. We are also not responsible for a loss that was not a foreseeable consequence of us getting something wrong.

We do not exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us exclude. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose.

DVSA does not accept responsibility for the accuracy of our reproduction of Crown copyright material. That statement appears in our footer because our licence requires it, and it means what it says: mistakes in the reproduction are ours to answer for, not theirs.

Availability

We aim to keep the site up and we do not promise it always will be. We may change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you have paid for and cannot reasonably replace it, we will refund the unused part.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you keep the protection of your local consumer law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
