Refund Policy

Last updated 26 August 2026

If Driving Theory Mock Test is not what you expected, tell us within 14 days and we will refund you. That applies to every plan, including lifetime.

The guarantee

Email us within 14 days of paying and we will refund what you paid. You do not have to explain why. We will probably ask, because it is the most useful thing anyone tells us, but the refund does not depend on your answer.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within five working days once we have processed them. Your access ends when the refund is issued.

What the law says, and why ours is better

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel something bought online. Digital content is an exception: once you have agreed to get access straight away and acknowledged that you lose the right to cancel, it is gone. You do agree to that at checkout, because you would rather start practising than wait 14 days.

So strictly we could turn down most refund requests. We would rather offer the guarantee above and mean it. If the service is faulty or not as described, you have separate rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that no policy of ours can reduce, and those apply whenever the problem appears.

Cancelling a subscription

Weekly and monthly plans renew until you stop them. Cancel any time from the pricing page while signed in. Cancelling stops the next payment and nothing else: you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not cut you off early or refund a part month on top.

Day passes and lifetime access do not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.

If a payment fails

We keep your access for the period you have paid for and your account shows what happened so you can update your card. We do not remove access you have already paid for because a future payment failed.

Things we will not refund

  • An account closed for sharing a login or scraping content. That is the one case where we keep the money, and it is in the terms.
  • A request made long after the window, where the account has been used heavily throughout. Ask anyway if something has gone wrong. The window is a promise, not a shutter.

Failing your real theory test is not a reason we refuse a refund. It is also not something we can be responsible for, and we would rather say that here than imply a guarantee we cannot give.

How to ask

Email support@drivingtheorymocktest.uk from the address on your account and say you want a refund. One line is enough.
