What Driving Theory Mock Test stores in your browser, named individually. Two things are needed to run the site. Everything else is your choice and declining costs you nothing.

Necessary. These cannot be switched off

NameWhat it doesLasts
auth_tokenKeeps you signed in. Without it you would be asked for your password on every page.Until you sign out
dtmt_cookie_consentRemembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we stop asking.Until you clear your browser storage
dtmt_accessOnly while the site is in private preview. Remembers that you entered the access code. It disappears at launch.30 days

We also keep your current test in your browser’s local storage so that reloading the page does not lose your place. It holds a random session reference and your answers, not your name.

Analytics. Only if you accept

NameWhat it doesLasts
_ga, _ga_*Google Analytics. Tells us which pages people use and which they leave, so we can work out what actually helps. Your IP address is truncated before it is stored.Up to 2 years

Nothing above is set until you accept. We load Google Analytics with consent mode, so on a first visit no analytics request is made at all, and a decline is sent as a decline rather than simply being silence.

There is no advertising on this site, we do not use tracking pixels, and we do not share what you do here with an ad network.

Change your mind

You can switch at any time and you do not need a reason.

You can also delete cookies through your browser settings, which will sign you out and make us ask again next time.
